Chicago Day 1: Art Institute
Paul was born with a big ol’ chip on his shoulder because his birthday falls two weeks after his brother’s. The nerve! So for Paul’s birthday, we did a whirlwind 72 hours in Chicago. (The stars happened to align this year for some fun trips, I warned the kids NOT to set any expectations for next year.)
We taxied in from O’Hare (and only threw up a little bit in stop-and-go traffic) and headed straight for the Art Institute, my happy place. Last time we only saw the modern wing before closing, so this time we hit the Michigan side. The miniatures were so fun!!
