Aaaand elementary school is a wrap! Joseph had his 5th grade promotion ceremony today. Next stop, middle school!

Final day of the ONLY year these two will ever be in the same school. Goodbye forever, one drop off/one pick up. That’s what happens when you have kids 4 years apart.

It’s here! Weeks and weeks and weeks late thanks to this chilly spring, our first bloom of the season. Another year we have not killed the rose bushes we inherited.

I write stories because we live in a world where people expect photos to be free. Yes, there are worse things in the world, but still, “exposure” doesn’t pay my bills. The best part of my assignments is that I shoot the photos with my stories, and I love it. I love it so much…

The upside of Juneuary is that it’s baking weather and now the house smells delicious.

So many museums, so little time. Some of these we literally zipped through in minutes, though I could have spent hours, days, weeks in each.
