The best Taiwanese snacks are at Southcenter
Southcenter has allllll the Taiwanese snacks. There’s Meet Fresh, which has the best bubble tea and tofu pudding. And 85 degrees C, where I stock up on at least one of everything. Din Tai Fung was packed, so we didn’t go in, but we got to watch them making those beautiful little balls of yumminess…

Happy 11th birthday
For Joseph’s 11th birthday, I baked a cake like the one Hagrid made for Harry’s 11th, and filled the upstairs shower (which we never use) with balloons. Joseph looks forward to that balloon mosh pit all year; amazing how a $1 bag of balloons makes all his dreams come true.

Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

Growing in my garden

New dinosaur exhibit
Last night, we went on a date with dinosaurs! Dinos Alive, which opened today, is a new immersive exhibition in Sodo. It’s put on by the same people doing the Van Gogh show; the dinosaurs are in another section of the same warehouse. Here’s a link to my story on ParentMap.
