Our preschool friends invited us over for their 4th of July block party. Joseph and I have been talking about this event forever because a fire truck was scheduled to make an appearance. Right at 4 p.m., just as promised, the neighborhood fire truck pulled up and let all the kids come check it out. Afterwards, the fire truck led a parade down the block, followed by the kids on their bikes and scooters and ride-ons. It was spectacular!
