I asked Paul what he liked best about our beach vacation to Seabrook. Was it the borrowed pup? The s’mores? Walking on the beach at sunset? Playing musical chairs and tag at the park, he said. All four of us together. Well sheesh, we could have done that IN OUR HOUSE minus the 6-hour drive…

It was a beautiful day for a ferry ride, and apparently half of Seattle thought so too. I’ve never seen such a long line for walk-ons or for Mora’s. We had a fun day walking around Winslow, and the boys were super excited to spot a BC plate (!) on the ferry.

The tide was out to -3 this afternoon, so we went to explore the pocket park at the Olympic Sculpture Park. So… the boys probably aren’t going to grow up to be marine biologists (I tried) but they were happy to visit their favorite sculptures.

I have never been so excited to eat a cactus! Lychee rose succulent cupcakes from FogRose Atelier.
