An extremely cold and wet day at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. The boys only looking excited because I'm promising them ice cream! ice cream! (Funny how that works, ice cream makes them smile even when they are shivering and soaked and it's raining sideways.) Tulips won't be out for another week at least, but I went up early for this ParentMap story. We missed the tulips last year, and will probably head back to see them in mid-April (on a sunny day).
